Adzy Frags is a guitarist, singer/songwriter from Adelaide, Australia.

At 15, his dad had a Les Paul copy guitar and early 80’s Peavy amp lying around just begging to be picked up, plugged in and played; that he did and never looked back.

Years later, he would begin writing songs. He has a large backlog of work and ‘Ashes’ is his first studio recording.

What inspires him to write?

“Most of my favourite songs have come in a period of struggle where I am using music as a way to release and express my thoughts and emotions. That’s when my songwriting flows best. I can’t force it… it just doesn’t happen that way. Sometimes the songs seem to almost write themselves, you know, the good ones. I know it’s a cliche but true for me also.”

Adzy was born and raised in country South Australia but moved to Adelaide at 17 and now calls the capital city his home. He has played in an original band and acoustic duos and various performances around Adelaide.
